Overview

9dragons is an authentic martial arts mmo, set in a world of mystery and mysticism In the ming dynasty. There are nine clans with nine lost heroes that are also looking for nine new heroes. You journey through the dangerous lands in search of more martial arts training whilst defeating monsters and other players as you decide which clan to call your own.

Game play

once you have created your character, you have many choices in were to go next. From the starting town you selected there is a tutorial on the basics of controlling you character and using skills and items and the like. there are also several quest givers nearby to allow you to easily dive into the story of 9dragons.

The controls as very standard and share many similarities with other online mmorpg's with point and click to keyboard shortcuts as well as programmable hotkey bars. Combat involves selecting a target advancing to within range and using basic techniques and the move advanced chained combo moves that require a certain move to have preceded it.

There are two main styles of combat one being the kung fu/melee combat and the other chi kung which involves ranged magic and other support spells. With the nine different clans anyone character can be customized and lean/upgrade their skills in almost anyway one can imagine making for some very diverse game play as they combine the chi kung and kung fu that 9dragons revolves around.

Overall with the very in depth customization of characters and the very involving storyline anyone with a penchant for martial arts or Asian culture with have countless hours of fun playing  9dragons.
